It’s safe to say Tracy and her team of horses have had an immensely busy and successful 2011. Read all about Tracy’s year here with her latest update:
DUNAUGER
Dundee is enjoying his show jumping career, successfully competing at the regional agricultural shows where he thrives on the “main ring” atmosphere. I cannot believe that he is 15 next year but as long as he is sound and happy, we will continue to have lots of fun.
ARABESKE
Betsy (as she is affectionately known) has been very busy being an equine superstar and proving her all round versatility:
British Eventing: BE100 level Wins at Allerton Park and Winkburn and several good placings in the top three, thus qualifying for the Five Year Old Young Event Horse Championship at Osberton International.
British Dressage: She has also become a Dressage Diva and had several wins at Novice level with very convincing scores… We competed at the Summer Regional Championships and held her own in very good company. Now qualified for the BD Winter Regionals.
British Showjumping: Wins at British Novice and Discovery level and accumulating double clears for Second Rounds 2012.
CHLOE’S SPRING
Spring has been out and about building a solid foundation for her future career as a top event horse. Highlights include:
Wins and good placings at Dressage prelim level with usual scores above 70%.
Winner of the HCTG League 1 annual points series.
Winner of the HTCH Combined Training series.
Placed Burghley Young Event Horse Qualifier.
TRACY
I pleased to have successfully completed my UKCC level 3 with British Eventing so I am now a BE accredited coach.
Really excited about next year and eventing the girls with a view to qualifying them for the 5 and 6 year old championships.. I would like to qualify Spring for the Burghley Young Event Horse Finals and the British Dressage 5 year old qualifiers. Betsy should be ready for a move to Elementary mid season and I hope to improve on our results at Regional level . I would also love to qualify Dundee for the amateur championships at the Horse of the Year Show which should be a very big occasion.
Could I take this opportunity of saying a BIG THANK YOU to my Sponsors, The Country Store at Collingham and Minster Vets at York for their much appreciated support. Also thanks to my joint owner of Arabeske, Erica Klien, who has been a great support throughout. Not forgetting the Spring syndicate – Helen Scott, Janette Mitchell and my husband Darren for their belief in this exciting young horse.
